Warwick - The Warwick Historical Society Harvest to Holly fund-raiser will be simple and elegant, Society Director Sybil H. Skinner said. The weekend-long festival will begin on Saturday, Nov. 17, with a performance of works by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Haydn by a chamber music trio. The chamber music concert will take place in the Old School Baptist Meeting House for as many as 150 patrons. After the concert, patrons will enjoy a light supper at the 18th-century-decorated Baird’s Tavern, featuring a delicious collation of foods served with a glass of wine to open the holiday season. Sunday’s event also will be celebrating Warwick. This year will see distinctively different performances at the Meeting House, including the nondenominational Jubilate Choir, the Union AME Gospel Choir and possibly a third group performing on the half hour, starting at 1:30 p.m. , Before and after each performance there will be a gathering at Baird’s Tavern. Hot mulled cider and a sweet bite will be served. Those with a Saturday evening ticket pass will be allowed to attend the Sunday afternoon concerts. Starting Oct. 5, tickets will be available at Newhard’s, Peck’s Wine and Spirit’s and the Baird Tavern Gift Shop/Office and on line at www.warwickhistoricalsociety.org. We are anticipating the Saturday tickets to go fast. Sunday, Nov. 18, the ticket sales area will be located at Lewis Park on the corner of High and Main Streets. Presale ticket prices for Saturday evening’s event are $35.00 Society members; $40.00 for nonmembers; Sunday’s concert $10.00 presale ticket price for Society members and $15.00 presale tickets for nonmembers; $20.00 for all tickets the day of the performances
