Historical society hosts speakers at Crawford House

    Newburgh —The Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands will host three speakers from the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17. Lawrence A. Fleischman, chairman of the American Wing; Peter Kenny, curator of the American Decorative Arts; and Morrison Heckscher will be at the 1830 Captain David Crawford House at 189 Montgomery St. Heckscher and Kenny will conduct a special tour of the house, highlighting the society’s furniture and decorative arts collection.
