Herbal teas, the wise woman way
Sugar Loaf Wise women have always used herbs to keep themselves and their families healthy. In a series of workshops for the herb enthusiast, Robin Rose Bennett will teach simple methods of preparing and using roots, leaves, flowers, berries, and seeds to make delicious infusions for pleasure, preventative medicine and to help ease common ailments. Bennett is a herbalist and teacher with a private consultation practice and year-round apprentice training programs. She has taught at schools, clinics, and hospitals, and is a frequent teacher at the New York Open Center. She has been a featured guest on television and radio, is the author of numerous articles and two meditation CD’s. Her book, “Healing Magic: A Green Witch Guidebook” has recently been published internationally. “Herbal Teas the Wise Woman Way” will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at Sugarloaf Mountain Herbs at 1361 Kings Highway, Suite C, in Sugarloaf.
