Help clean Salesian park before opening

Goshen In preparation for the grand opening of the public park at the former Salesian school site, Goshen Parks and Recreation Commission is asking for help. The commission is sponsoring a community clean-up to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8. Volunteers should bring their own gloves and rakes and to dress appropriately. Long sleeves and pants are recommended to guard against exposure poison ivy. For more information call the commission’s office at 294-1558.
