Heart Expo 2007 scheduled for Feb. 3 at Harness Racing Museum in Goshen

Middletown — Orange Regional Medical Center and the Peter Frommer M.D. Heart Center will host Heart Expo 2007 at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame on Main Street. in Goshen on Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m The event will feature a wide variety of family friendly activities including: • Healthy cooking demonstrations and tasting courtesy of Holbert’s Catering • The latest in fitness and fun with Gold’s Gym, Middletown • Information Stations representing a wide variety of healthy living and disease prevention materials courtesy of Healthy Orange, American Heart Association, Orange Regional Medical Center • A “Hearts and Crafts” station for children • “Live a Better Life” vendors representing a variety of relaxation, health and wellness approaches • “The Doctor is In” conference room with adult and pediatric cardiac, diabetes, stroke and dietician specialists • Free raffles and prizes • Healthy Heart Program on-site with free blood pressure and glucose screenings (pre-registration required). Individuals interested in participating in the Healthy Heart Program must pre-register with Orange Regional’s Health Connection at 1-888-321-ORMC. This is the only activity at the Heart Expo in which pre-registration is required.
