Heal yourself, heal the planet
Warwick. Susan Meyer-Fitzsimmons will speak about our current cultural crossroads as a basis for the thesis presented in her multi-award winning book "Deep Living: Healing Yourself to Heal the Planet."
The Albert Wisner Public Library will present author Susan Meyer-Fitzsimmons on Thursday, February 27 at 6:30pm. She will speak about our current cultural crossroads as a basis for the thesis presented in her multi-award winning book "Deep Living: Healing Yourself to Heal the Planet."
Join Meyer-Fitzsimmons for a lively, thought provoking discussion of “new millennial values,” how and why a cultural turnaround must begin within, and how to do so.
“Our singular cultural focus on profit has not only destroyed our environment and our culture at large," she writes, "it has also made us as individuals oblivious to the things that truly matter in life, and make it enjoyable and meaningful. “
Meyer-Fitzsimmons is an award winning author, blogger, gentle activist, holistic adventurer, spiritual sojourner, inspirational speaker, food guru and cultural critic. She runs workshop and retreats on eating, healing and living with intent out of her net-zero house in Warwick and gives talks throughout the Hudson Valley.
