Hand spinning group forming

WARWICK — The Albert Wisner Public Library in collaboration with the Friends of Hathorn House is hosting a new hand spinning group.
Anyone interested in learning the portable and ancient art of hand spinning wool and other fibers into yarn using a drop spindle is welcome to join.
You do not need an expensive or complicated spinning wheel to make your own hand spun yarn.
The group will begin meeting Friday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to noon in the library's board room.
If you do not have a spindle or wool, email ahead so that we can arrange the loan of a spindle for you.
Sample wool can also be supplied for $5 for your first try.
Let us know you or coming so we can reserve a place for you by emailing sgardner@rcls.org.
