Halloween costume party at Hill-Hold
Goshen A free Halloween costume party for children ages 6 and under will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Hill-Hold Museum, located on Route 416 in Campbell Hall. Activities will include the magical entertainment of Macaroni the Clown (assisted by special friends in costume), hayrides courtesy of the Orange County Farmers Museum, and an inflatable “moon castle” so that the children can bounce off some energy. Refreshments will be served, including coffee for adults, and each child will receive a goody bag. The morning will conclude with the children showing off their costumes in a parade around the grounds at Hill Hold. Pre-school programs and day care centers are invited to attend. The area is accessible to children with disabilities. Because the party will be held outdoors, children should be dressed appropriately. The party is being sponsored by the Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation in conjunction with the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796. For more information, call Tamara Moson at the parks department at 457- 4905.
