SAUGERTIES — In what is becoming as sure and welcome a sign of spring as the first robin, Mexican guitar virtuoso Gil Gutierrez returns to the Barbara Fite Room at Opus 40 on Saturday, May 12, for a concert ranging from jazz and traditional Mexican tunes to classical music to gypsy jazz, with even a little Jimi Hendrix thrown in.
His trio includes Bob Stern on violin and Dave Rodriguez on bass; with special guest George Stavis
Tickets $35 advance, $50 day of concert, $30 members.
