GREENWOOD LAKE Hundreds of people gathered in their lawn chairs on the grass at the Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park last Saturday evening to watch a special screening of the new Rob Reiner movie, The Magic of Belle Isle, which was filmed last year in and around Greenwood Lake.
The movie stars Morgan Freeman and Virginia Madsen; a good number of village residents also had roles as extras in the movie. And the house owned by Marilyn and John Tracy was used as the home of the character played by Freeman.
Here are just a few of the sights from the camera of photographer Ed Bailey.
