Greenwood Lake library hosts artist reception Sunday

Greenwood Lake - As part of the Works of Art Gallery, local artist and business owner Barney Lopilito will exhibit his knitwear, knitted photo blankets and pillows at the Greenwood Lake Public Library through December. The exhibit will run from Saturday, Dec. 2, through Wednesday, Dec. 27. A “meet the artist” reception will be held at the library on Sunday, Dec. 3, from noon to 2 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Light refreshments will be served. Lopilito is a resident of Greenwood Lake. His one-person show is a collection of knitted blankets and pillows, reproducing photographic portraits, organization and sporting emblems and images, including the scenery of Greenwood Lake.
