Goshen Rotary to Host ‘250 Club' dinner-dance and raffle

    Goshen — The Rotary Club of Goshen is holding its annual “250 Club” dinner-dance and fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at John S. Burke High School in Goshen. This year’s event will feature a Mardi Gras theme. Tickets are $80 and include dinner for two, cocktails and dancing, plus a chance to win cash prizes in a random drawing. First prize is $5,000, second prize is $50, and third prize is $250. Five $80 prizes also will be awarded. Only 250 tickets will be sold to increase the odds of winning a cash prize. Proceeds will fund scholarships and community service projects. For tickets call 294-8475. The Rotary recently inducted new members: Goshen Village Trustee Lynn Cione, Rita Frey of Inspire, and Candace Behensky of TD Banknorth. The club recently hosted Lt. Col. Timothy J. Holten of West Point, who spoke about the U.S. Military Academy Band.
