Goshen Rotary to hold Mardi Gras dinner-dance

    Goshen — The Goshen Rotary Club will hold its annual Mardi Gras dinner-dance and raffle party from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at John S. Burke High School on Fletcher Street in Goshen. A donation of $80 entitles each couple to cocktails, dinner, dancing to a DJ, and a cash drawing with prizes from $80 to $5,000. This event is one of Goshen Rotary’s major fundraisers. The proceeds will be used to fund local charities, projects, scholarships, and Rotary’s international activities. Some of the club’s activities include the dictionary project in the Goshen School District, Breaside Camp in Middletown, the Goshen Ecumenical Pantry, CP Center/Inspire, Craigville Park playground, Museum Village in Monroe, polio eradication, the community dinner at St. James Church, Girl/Boy Scouts, and scholarships to Goshen students.
