Goshen Libary has programs for adults

    Goshen-The Goshen Public Library has scheduled the following programs for adults: • Origami — Myrna Sigal will teach the basics of this ancient Japanese art form at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the library meeting room. Learn to create origami pieces to adorn your home or office in special ways. Seating is limited. Call Ken Tschan at 615-1242 to register. • JFK's 1000 Days: Setting the Tone for the 1960's — Dr. James Lynch from Orange County Community College will discuss how the closing years of the Eisenhower Administration set things up for John F. Kennedy and his presidency at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28. Call Ken Tschan at 615-1242 for more information. Registration is not necessary for this program. • Artist of the Month: Pete Weaver — Pete Weaver's paintings will be on display in the library throughout September.
