Goshen Christian to host fall festival
Goshen This year’s fall festival at the Goshen Christian School features inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a bungee run, gift sale, craft vendors, and lots of food, including dessert. The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the school, located at 43 Route 17A in Goshen. Event organizers Tina Vellenga and Alice VanDeWeert are planning for even bigger crowds this year than in past years. “We have so many wonderful gift items, baked goods and handmade crafts, as well as children’s activities and lots of food, we know it’s going to be a great day for everyone who comes,” Vellenga said. Other highlights include nail and face painting, a farmers market, a gourmet coffee booth, games, and prizes. The festival is open to the public and all ages are welcome. Wristbands for one-priced, unlimited rides will available on site. The school’s 34th annual fall festival will be held rain or shine, under tents and indoors. For more information, call 294-6365.
