Cornwall — Snakes are cool animals, helpful to the environment but very misunderstood. On Saturday, Jan. 12, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum presents “Snakes Alive!,” a program that will introduce children to some of the snakes who live at the museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Two presentations of the program will be offered, one at 10 a.m. and another at 11:30 a.m. Interpreters will show some of the snakes’ amazing adaptations. Kids will create their own snake craft to take home. The program is recommended for ages 5 and up. The cost is $5, or $3 for members.
