Gardening in a changing climate

WARWICK — Climate change is impacting the way we garden. Come to the Albert Wisner Public Library on Saturday, March 24, at 12:30 p.m., to learn how to adapt your garden for this phenomenon.
Organic gardener Gar Wang will present different techniques for managing the adverse effects of climate change. She will share her experiments in dealing with extreme heat, erratic rainfall and damaging winds.
Alternative solutions from ancient and distant cultures will also be discussed.
Since 1985, Gar’s organic gardens in Warwick have provided food for her family and friends throughout the year. She has written and lectured extensively on organic gardening and sustainable practices in the Hudson Valley
