Gardener, author to visit Florida Public Library

Florida — On Saturday, May 19, at 1 p.m., the Florida Public Library will welcome gardener/humorist William Alexander, author of “The $64 Tomato: How One Man Nearly Lost His Sanity, Spent a Fortune, and Endured an Existential Crisis in the Quest for the Perfect Garden.” Meet Alexander and enjoy a discussion of his garden disasters (and yours). Books will be available for purchase that day and a book signing will take place after the program. Copies are also available for check-out now at the library.
