— Full Armor, an inspirational contemporary Christian band based in Orange County, is hosting a CD release concert on Saturday, March 2, at Orange Hall in Middletown.

Since 2005, Full Armor has infiltrated the inspirational music scene by performing at parish and diocesan events across the nation, including an appearance for Pope Benedict XVI to a crowd of over 25,000 youth in New York City — all the result of a spontaneous ask to lead the youth Mass from a member's hometown church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Middletown.

“That day, we fell in love with seeing God change the lives of young people through our music,” says band leader Douglas Q. Hutchings.

Now, nearly eight years later, they are celebrating the release of None The Same, on iTunes nationwide and of course at the concert Saturday night.

None the Same features seven tracks written collectively by band members Hutchings, Kyle Hancharick and Matt Juliano of Warwick, Tara Lakeman and Francis Zelinka.

Driven by acoustic guitar and their signature three part gang-style vocals and radiating youth and positivity in songs like “Let Me Sow Love,” “Lead Me To The Light,” and “Light Of The World,” the band uses their diverse instrumental talent to deliver uplifting and real-world messages to listeners, all while keeping their influences from Paul Simon, Ingrid Michaelson and David Wilcox evident.

Juliano, Hancharick and Hutchings are all graduates of John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen.

So spend a night with Full Armor and hear their upbeat, inspirational message.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. A $5 offering is suggested from adults attending; children are free. Orange Hall is located on the campus of SUNY Orange in Middletown.
