Middletown — Arnold Lobel’s well-loved characters from his musical comedy, “A Year with Frog and Toad” will hop from the page to the stage at Orange Hall Theatre, located on the campus of Orange County Community College, 115 South St., Middletown. This Tony-nominated children’s play follows two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad, throughout one year, from the challenges of waking from hibernation in spring to sliding through life lessons in winter. The play is being presented by the Arts and Communication Department and the Apprentice Players on April 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., April 9 at 3 p.m. The cast includes Tab L. Merkel, David Marmanillo, Julie Alvez, Andrew Hankins, Christine Molter, Brian Pelaccio, Jordyn Peterson, Adam Flocke, Jenna Bochart, and Aaron Soto.
