Free workshops on growing and using herbs

Sugar Loaf — Sugar Loaf Mountain Herbs will be offering monthly workshops and seminars throughout the year. Owner/grower Alicia Frosini will be offering basic information about using herbs along with tricks of the trade. The first workshop of the season, to be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, will show how to start herbs from seed. Most workshops are free of charge and held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays at the shop, located at 1361 Kings Highway (Suite C) in Sugar Loaf.
