Free West Point opera evening to be held March 25

Jane Cormier, with her husband Carlos Martinez, and the Lakes Region Opera Co. will be guests of the West Point’s Department of Foreign Languages on Tuesday, March 25, at 8 p.m. at Eisenhower Hall. Cormier and her company will present “Opera at the Café,” an interactive opera experience that incorporates well-known operatic selections and dancing. Participants will include recent Boston and New England Conservatory graduates as well as other experienced New England area opera performers. The show will spotlight favorites by Verdi, Puccini, Bizet and Strauss. This free, black-tie event is presented as part of the West Point Department of Foreign Languages Performing Arts Series.
