Free summer music series begins at Hill Hold

Goshen — There will be free music at Hill Hold starting this Saturday.
Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana and the Orange County Department of Parks, in conjunction with Joint Membership of Health and Community Agencies and The Friends of Hill Hold, will once again host a free summer music series, Concerts at The Barn at Hill Hold Farm Museum.
Each of the three concerts will begin at 4 p.m. and will be held inside the historic barn at the Hill Hold Farm Museum located on Route 416 between Montgomery and Campbell Hall.
Free and open to the public, the concert series will feature the following musical artists:
Saturday, Aug. 10 - MacTalla Mor
Saturday, Aug. 17 - Professor Louie and The Crowmatix
Saturday, Aug. 24 - Sonando
Opening acts for each show will feature some of the best bands in the Hudson Valley. All shows will be held rain or shine.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. and people are encouraged to arrive early for the best seating. The final show of the series on Saturday Aug. 24 will feature a chicken barbecue courtesy of the Friends of Hill Hold.
