Free family-friendly jazz at Goshen Jazz Festival

— Come celebrate the 10th annual Goshen Jazz Festival, commemorating Goshen's own Willie "The Lion" Smith on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 12 to 7 p.m.

Sponsored by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Cornerstone Arts Alliance, this family-friendly event is free. There will be live entertainment all day long and jazz-themed coloring pages for kids.

The festival director is Evan Teatum, coordinator is Donna Silver-McCormack with guest emcees including Jennifer Cullen.

The schedule of performers include:

Noon to 1 p.m. Pharr Out
1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Anita Casanova Trio

2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Lenape Road
4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Swing-Swing-Swing with Vic Caruso

5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Otisville Brass with Oliver Mackson

Also Participating is Maureen Mullany's Pub, 148 West Main St., featuring The Michael Jackson Trio from 2 to 5 p.m.

It all takes place at the Goshen Music Hall, 223 Main St., Goshen, second floor. The building is not handicap accessible.
