    Orange County Chester Saturday, July 9 — Fireworks display at dusk on Carpenter Field at the Chester Community Park (Vadala Road). Rain date is Sunday, July 10. Free admission. Bring chairs and blankets. Goshen Saturday-Sunday, July 2-3 — Great American Weekend in Harriman Square, Village of Goshen. More than 150 crafts and food vendors plus entertainment. Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free admission. Rotary Club road race at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Greenwood Lake Saturday, July 2 — Fireworks at dusk at the Thomas P. Morhan Waterfront Park (Windemere Avenue). Rain date is Sunday, July 3. Parade at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, followed by bed races at 2 p.m. Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the park features Patrick Parone, an Elvis tribute artist. Monroe Friday, July 1 — Fireworks at dusk by the lake at Crane Park (Millpond Parkway). Rain date is Saturday, July 2. Woodbury Saturday, July 2 — Firecracker Festival from 10 a.m.-4p.m. at the Monroe-Woodbury Middle School (Dunderberg Road, Central Valley). Street fair with vendors, music, car show, and more. Rain or shine. West Point Monday, July 4 — Parade from Thayer Gate to Hacienda Restaurant (Main Street), 3:30-5 p.m. Events at Roe Park (Roe Avenue, Highland Falls) include Idols Competition for kids and adults starting at 6 p.m., live music from Guitar Bob, DJ music, bouncers, hula hoop contest, water balloon toss, and food vendors. Fireworks in the park at around 9:30 p.m. Free admission. Sussex County Sparta Sunday, July 3 — Fireworks at 9 p.m. over Lake Mohawk. Rain date is Monday, July 4. On July 4 there will also be a parade starting at 10 a.m. at East Shore Trail, traveling through Lake Mohawk Plaza, up Mohawk Avenue, and ending at the Sparta library. Free admission. Vernon Saturday, July 2 — Fireworks at dusk at the Lounsberry Hollow Middle School (30 Sammis Road). Food, refreshments and entertainment available before the show. Rain date is Sunday, July 3. Admission per family or group of four is $15. Gate opens at 6 p.m. Pike County Lehman Township Monday, July 4 — Parade at 10 a.m. starting at the Poccano Mountain Lake Estate (Milford Road), heading South, and ending at the American Legion. Parade is followed by hot dogs and soda. Rain or shine. Passaic County West Milford Friday, July 1- Fireworks and festival at Old Jungle Habitat Property (Airport Road) at 4:30 p.m. Fireworks start at dusk. Admission is $15 per carload. Rain date is Saturday, July 2, when the Family Fun Day Festival and Car show is scheduled, starting at 9 a.m. Wayne County Hawley/Lake Wallenpaupack Monday, July 4 — Fireworks at approximately 9 p.m. shot off from the Wallenpaupack High School (US Route 6), where there will be parking and seating. Bleachers open at 7 p.m. Fireworks may also be viewed elsewhere on the lake’s shores. Rain date is Saturday, July 9. Honesdale Sunday, July 3 — Festivities in the afternoon at Central Park in Honesdale (between Court Street and Church Street). Live music in the evening, followed by fireworks. Rain date is Wednesday, July 6. Sullivan County White Lake/ Bethel Woods Sunday July 3- Fireworks on White Lake (off White Lake Turnpike) begin at dusk. Free admission.
