Food Bank of the Hudson Valley holds fundraiser Sept. 9

    Goshen - The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley will host its eighth annual fundraiser, Denim & Diamonds, at the Harness Racing Museum located on Main Street in Goshen on Saturday, Sept. 9. The event will include a barbecue lunch, gaming tables, beer donated by local breweries and distributors, Country Western entertainment, line dancing instructions and an auction. The Harness Racing Museum also will open its two-floor museum for event attendees to browse the displays. Major sponsors include: ShopRite, Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation and Ulster Savings Bank; additional sponsors are Pamela’s Traveling Feast, AirTran Airways, Allegiant Air, A. C. Productions, Bargain Beverages, Budget Beverages, Casey’s Beer & Soda Shack, Oak Beverages, Inc. and the Beer Store. The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, located in Cornwall-on-Hudson, provides food to more than 370 feeding programs in Orange, Dutchess, Sullivan, Putnam, Rockland and Ulster counties.
