Florida Public Library schedules programs for young people in April
Florida - Young adults who are in grades six and up are invited to the Florida Public Library on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. for a variety of programs: April 8: Pick up a copy of “Magic” by Barry Runyon in advance and join the book discussion. April 15 is game night. Play Scrabble, Pictionary or another game of choice. April 22: Create fun jewelry with an assortment of items. April 29: Learn to knit the easy way. We’ll show you how. Library staff will serve snacks at each program. Meanwhile, the library’s Teen Advisory Group meets on the second Saturday of each month at 1 p.m. On April 12, the group will help plan programs and media purchases for the library over pizza for lunch. At 2 p.m. decorate a home for the birds in celebration of Earth Week. To register, call the library at 651-7659.
