Chester — A fish fry dinner will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Chester’s Fellowship Hall on Saturday, Sept. 22. The dinner will feature fish and chips (potatoes), the church’s famous coleslaw, brownies and ice cream for dessert, and iced tea, lemonade, or coffee. The cost is $12 for adults, and $10 for senior citizens (65 and over) and children (age 12 and under). Servings will be continuous from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Advanced reservations are necessary. Call 469-3005 for tickets before Sept. 20. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Chester Presbyterian Food Pantry and the Chester Kiwanis Club’s community service programs. “Don’t wait to reserve your tickets,” said Richard Robillard, president of the Chester Kiwanis Club. “We all know how the dinners at the Presbyterian Church sell out. We are looking forward to a great turnout.”
