'First Pitch' Art Exhibit at the Library

The Albert Wisner Public Library is featuring “First Pitch,” baseball art by local artist James Amore. During the month of April visitors to the gallery on the lower level of the library will be treated to a display of more than 40 originals and and limited edition reproductions of many of baseball’s legends: Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Thurman Munson, Bobby Thomson, Whitey Ford, Lou Gehrig, Nolan Ryan, Roy Capanella, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle and many more. On April 23 from 6:30 to 7:30pm the artist James Amore will be in the Community Room to meet with visitors and discuss his art.
