Warwick - Albert Wisner Public Library will present a women’s history program on Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m., at the Warwick Grove Neighborhood Center. In celebration of women’s roles in American history, local author Rae Lindsay will discuss behind-the-scenes details about the lives of “The Presidents’ First Ladies,” who range from the famous to the obscure, from the beloved to the unpopular, from the well-educated to those who could barely read. Lindsay is a resident of Warwick who has written, ghost-written or edited 22 non-fiction books; she also has written a syndicated column for Associated Press and taught English and journalism in several universities in New Jersey. A book signing will follow the talk with copies available for purchase. Register by calling 986-1047 ext. 3 or by stopping by the Reference Desk.
