WARWICK — What does a 34-year-old woman do when her heart is broken, her career is stalled and the U.S. economy is collapsing?

Why, drop it all and head straight to New Zealand, of course.

Television writer and producer Sarah Jackson will appear at the Albert Wisner Public Library on Sunday, Nov. 4 , to talk about the two years she spent in the South Pacific in search of meaning, only to find it right here at home.

Jackson’s award-winning work has appeared on Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.

Often funny, sometimes sad, and always honest, Jackson has returned to her hometown in the hopes her story will inspire others in her community to investigate their own lives with curiosity, courage and a great sense of humor.

The talk begins at 4 p.m. and will be followed by refreshments and a performance from Sarah’s father, local jazz legend Mike Jackson.

Registration is requested. To do so online, go to www.albertwisnerlibrary.org or call 986-1047 ext. 3.
