Film rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 30

    Warwick — Learning for Self Reliance, a community promoting sustainability, assisted by the Foreign and Independent Film Group of Warwick, will show the film “Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30. The feature-length documentary by Robert Greenwald reveals a retail giant’s assault on families and American values. The film dives into the deeply personal stories and everyday lives of families and communities struggling to fight a goliath. The screening, a make-up for the Dec. 10 technical failure when the projector would not work, will take place at Warwick Valley Community Center at 11 Hamilton Ave. in Warwick.
