Festival of Kathak Dance

International Indian Dance will present its annual cultural program and certificate award ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of East-West School of Dance at Ananda Ashram, in Monroe. The program will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sarasvati Hall, Hindu Temple Community Center in Flushing. Continuously since 1981, the School of Dance has held regular weekly classes in Indian Classical Kathak Dance at the Monroe ashram. Donations to support the event are welcome.
