Festival honors the Grateful Dead on Aug. 20-21

    Warwick — The fourth annual tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead will be held from noon to 5 p.m. next Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20 and 21, at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery at 114 Little York Road. Artists performing Aug. 21 include Stella Blues Band, Brothers Bound, Matt Turk and Hobo Caravan, Uncle Shoehorn, and Wigjam. On Sunday, the artists include Dead on the Tracks, the Kind Buds, Soylent Blue, McMule and the Jam Stampede. Pané, the winery bakery café, will be serving food and an outside BBQ includes oysters, pulled pork and chicken. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Coolers are not permitted.
