Farmers' Museum to host Civil War reenactment and encampment

Montgomery — The Orange County Farmers’ Museum and the “Orange Blossoms” will be hosting their 11th annual Civil War reenactment and encampment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 24. There will be hay rides, demonstrations on the camp life of the soldier, military drill, 1860 fashion show, as well as a mock battle both days. Battles usually start around 2 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. All proceeds benefit the Farmers’ Museum. Admission is 4$ for adults, 2$ for kids. For more information, call 928-2452.
