Eyes of the World Yoga Studio celebrated its grand opening at 77 Forester Ave. in the Village of Warwick on Sept. 18 with a day of complimentary programs, including a Zen meditation, a gentle yoga class taught by Sharon Hilyer Roll and then a Kirtan (a traditional call and response chanting) lead by Shruti Ram, Arundhati Sherbow and Maguerite Shinouda. Three hundred dollars were collected for Habitat For Humanity's Hurricane Katrina Recovery fund and a portion of September's Eyes of the World Yoga Studio proceeds will go to that fund as well.
