Exposures Gallery to offer Digital Photo Workshops

Sugar Loaf — Photographer Nick Zungoli, owner of Exposures Gallery in Sugar Loaf, will offer several Digital Photo Workshops, beginning in August. The following workshops are scheduled: Monday, Aug. 15: Purple Loosestrife Photo Workshop Photograph the annual bloom of loosestrife flowers and learn how to make the most of your digital camera. Perfect for beginners as well as advanced shooters. The morning is spent photographing a sea of purple fields here in Sugar Loaf and the afternoon reviewing efforts at the gallery. The fee is $195 and includes lunch. Class limited to 10 participants. Sept. 13-16: Amalfi Coast, Italy Picturesque villages, terraced lemon groves, food and wine. The $1,000 fee includes first night dinner and daily transportation. Airfare, accommodations and meals additional. Limited to six persons. (Workshop full, however Zungoli is accepting alternates.) Monday, Oct. 3: Digital Printing Workshop One day workshop for photographers who want to learn how to make exhibition quality prints using Photoshop. The day includes a morning shoot at a beautiful Hudson Valley location and an afternoon learning Photoshop printing at the gallery. The fee for each class is $295 per person and includes lunch and a 13x19 inch color print of your work. Class limited to six participants. Monday, Oct. 17: Alumni Photo Workshop One day workshop for photographers who have previously participated in the Digital Printing Workshop. The day includes a morning photo shoot and advanced Photoshop techniques at the gallery in the afternoon. The fee for each class is $295 per person and includes lunch and a 13x19 inch color print of your work. Class limited to 6 participants. Monday, Oct. 24: Autumn Color Workshop Learn how to make the most of your digital camera. Perfect for beginners as well as advanced shooters. The morning is spent photographing peak autumn color in Harriman State Park and an afternoon reviewing efforts at the gallery. The fee is $195 and includes lunch. Class limited to 10 participants.
