Experts in adoption law to give presentation

Middletown — Experts in adoption law will give a presentation at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Wallkill Community Center on Wes Warren Drive in Middletown. Nina Rumbold and Denise Seidelman have been practicing together since 1996, almost exclusively in the area of adoption law. They practice throughout the New York metropolitan area, including Long Island, Putnam, Orange, Ulster, Rockland and Dutchess counties. Rumbold and Seidelman are experienced in all aspects of adoption law and have handled the full range of adoptions, including domestic private-placement adoptions, domestic agency adoptions (including adoptions of children in foster care), international agency adoption, and step-parent adoptions. Since its inception, Rumbold & Seidelman has finalized over 500 adoptions and counseled scores of additional prospective adoptive parents and prospective birth parents. Both lawyers working mothers with three children each, ranging in age from 16 to 21. They will be speaking on domestic adoption but are willing to answer questions on any type of adoption.
