Exhibit showcases hidden treasures of the Hudson Valley

CORNWALL-The Museum of the Hudson Highlands will host an art exhibit, “Hidden Treasures of the Hudson Valley.” The opening reception will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, and the exhibit will run through Sunday, Dec. 31, at the Museum’s Kenridge Farm Gallery on Route 9W in Cornwall. The exhibition will include work by Hudson Valley artists. On display, with an option to buy, will be photography by Robert Clinton of Highland Mills, Nick Zungoli of Sugar Loaf, Jill Gasero of Woodstock, and Joyce Conroy of Museum of the Hudson Highlands; mixed-media by Rachel Berton of Sugarloaf; and paintings by Mae Berton of Queens, Marilyn Vanderpool of Monroe, and Joyce Conroy of Museum of the Hudson Highlands. The artists will be donating half of any sale to the museum; half of each purchase is tax-deductible. Gallery hours are from 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
