Evening of comedy featuring Bobby Collins to benefit WFEL

CHESTER — The premier fundraising event for the Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning will take place on Friday, Oct. 11 at Jester’s Comedy Club in Chester.
Bobby Collins will be performing and doors open at 7:30 p.m. for raffles and prizes benefiting the foundation and the show starts at 9 p.m.
A native of New York, Collins was born into comedy as his father named him for his favorite comedian, Bob Hope. In the 1980s, Collins left a lucrative position as vice president of Calvin Klein to pursue his dream and ended up working alongside such comedy legends as Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno.
Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (WFEL) was established in April 2013 and is currently in the process of applying for 501(3c) status with the end goal of not-for-profit status. The mission of WFEL, a community-based, not-for-profit organization, is to promote, enhance, provide, and enrich the educational, teaching and learning opportunities within the Warwick Valley Central School District.

Fostering alumni and local relations by establishing job-shadowing and internship opportunities/connections
