GOSHEN — Evan Teatum and Friends will perform on the monument stage at today’s Goshen Farmer’s Market in Village Square. The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, as part of “The Homegrown Music Series,” free mini-concerts by Orange County musicians made possible, in part, with funds from Orange County Tourism/Orange Arts and Orange County. Although a native of Staten Island, Evan Teatum has called Goshen home for many years. As a guitarist he has performed either as a member of a full-blown a rock and roll band or as a solo performer playing all the major venues of the time. His recently self-produced solo CD release, “Portraits,” reflects his ability to paint a musical landscape, reflecting both the harmony and color of emotion. Among his musical influences are Indigo Girls, Bob Dylan, Ritchie Havens, and Crosby Stills & Nash. Goshen Farmer’s Market vendors include Bialas Farms, The Cookie Chick, Gardiner Eucalyptus, Grammy’s Garden, Happy Herbs Soap, Janet’s Quality Baked Goods, John Lupinski Farms, Mountain Products Smokehouse, Orchards of Concklin, Panzarella Foods LLC, Pennings Orchards, Picklelicious, Pika’s, S&SO. Produce, Sweet Aroma, The Farmer’s Daughter, The Kitchen Gourmet, and the Warwick Valley Winery. The market is sponsored by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce and held every Friday, rain or shine, in the heart of Goshen at Village Square through Oct. 26.
