Enjoy BBQ and blues at Applewood Winery

WARWICK — Down home food and music come to town July 38 and 29 when Applewood Winery holds its 10th annual BBQ & Blues Experience from noon to 5 p.m. both days.
Smokin’ Grate will dish out BBQ favorites such as brisket, pulled pork, ribs and chicken along with sides of mac and cheese, potato salad, baked beans and cornbread.
For nonafficionados, the winery’s Cider Café will offering applewood-fired pizzas, savory cheese plates and more.
The Naked Flock Cider Bar offers a selection of small batch ciders on tap, special summer cocktails and wine slushies.
No outside food or drinks are permitted.
Saturday, music will be provided by The Barn Cats — New Orleans-flavored, original blues- based funk, and rock ’n roll with soul.
Sunday will feature Big Frank and the Healers. Big Frank is a traditional electric and acoustic blues musician known for his powerful vocals and bottleneck slide style.
