Eitz Chaim to host open house at new synagogue on Jan. 13
Monroe Congregation Eitz Chaim invites the public to an Open House at its new synagogue on Sunday, Jan, 13, 12:30 to 3 p.m. This will be an opportunity to meet Rabbi Adam Kligfeld and Principal Rabbi Selilah Kalev. Eitz Chaim will offer free games and crafts all afternoon, a mad science show at 1 and 2 p.m., and a magic show 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Plus, teens and pre-teens are invited to check out the congregation’s youth groups. Attendees can tour the kosher catering facility, meet the caterers, and sample food. There will also be an opportunity to meet florists, photographers, DJs, and balloon artists. Eitz Chaim is a conservative synagogue on 4 Reynolds Road, at the corner of Orange Turnpike, in Monroe. Directions: Route 17M, make turn onto Still Road (Stop & Shop Plaza McDonald’s on corner), continue straight, past the blinking light, and synagogue is immediately on the right. No RSVP necessary.
