Edenville to host historical walking tour
| 29 Sep 2011 | 12:15
Warwick The hamlet of “Edenville” still conjures some blank stares, even from some hardy Warwick natives. Despite its unassuming character, Edenville has been around for 273 years and counting. This Saturday, Oct. 27, the Edenville Council for the Humanities will hold a walking tour to explore its rich past. Participants will learn about some of the buildings, stories, and personalities that have colored the hamlet’s long history. They are invited to come with their own stories and memories to share. The free tour begins at 2 p.m. at the Edenville Country Store. A raindate has been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 28. If both days are rained out, the tour will be in the spring. Call Jeff Doolittle at 341-0346 to make reservations.
