Eating disorder teleconference set for Feb. 28

    NEWBURGH — An Orange County Eating Disorders Coalition-sponsored interactive teleconference called, “Why Don’t You Just Eat Normally?” will take place on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh beginning at 6 p.m. February is “Eating Disorders Awareness Month” and the event’s target audience is primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, school nurses, dietitians and other medical professional who interface with adults and young people with eating disorders. Richard Kreipe, professor of pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong in Rochester, will be the presenter. The event is co-sponsored by many regional groups looking to increase awareness of eating disorders.
