Cornwall — The Museum of the Hudson Highlands presents, “Introduction to Birding,” at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 5. Novice and veteran birders are all welcome to join professional photographer and birder Ken Kijewski, who will introduce the basics of birding at the Museum’s Kenridge Farm location, Route 9W, Cornwall. At 9:30 a.m., the group will return to the Farmhouse for refreshments, prior to viewing a special PowerPoint presentation of bird photographs and their descriptions at 10 a.m. Kijewski is a member of the Edgar A. Mearns Bird Club, The Newburgh Camera Club and The National Association of Nature Photographers. Prints of his photographs will be available for purchase.
