This fall, Dr. Charles P. Holmes, a retired NASA scientist, presented a multi-media lecture on Curiosity, NASA’s roving science lab that landed on the planet Mars this past August at the Greenwood Lake Public Library. At his program, “Curious About Mars,” he discussed what we hope to learn about Mars and the search for Martian life. Picture with Dr. Holmes are some of the attendees of the program (from left to right): Fran Lee, Andy Maceda, Dr. Holmes, Kevin Gallagher and two curious young adults, Nicholas and Summer Conetta.
