Crafts projects at Golden Circle Preschool

    Campbell Hall — Golden Circle Preschool, located at 5 Everett Rd. in Campbell Hall, is offering a series of special programs this fall. • Soft doll making workshop — Choose between a 16-inch full body doll or lavender millet large baby bunting. Simple sewing skills are required. For adults and children 10 and up. The cost is $60 per person. Dates to choose from are Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. • Children’s health video and presentation by Carole Hurst on Monday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. Childcare provided. • Parent/tot program with a dollmaking project for parents — Tuesdays in November from 2 to 4:15 p.m. • Sheep to Shawl Project meets twice monthly, Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. Start with a visit to a local sheep farm, then learn how to wash, card, spin, and dye the fleece (using natural dyes), then knit, crochet, or weave a simple project. Three-hour sessions start in November. The cost is $50 a month per person plus supplies. • Knitting/crochet groups and sewing groups (hand and machine) are forming. Host one in your home for adults and children or attend one at Golden Circle Preschool. Starts in November.
