Course offers modern approach to Christianity

Tuxedo Park — St. Mary’s Church will offer Basic Christianity, a new contemporary series of adult education classes, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 18 to April 8, at 10 Fox Hill Road in Tuxedo Park. The course objective is to create an open and inclusive environment that appeals to people wondering about Christianity. Using a combination of learning styles - which includes video, written materials, small group discussion, and large group forum - the group will encounter the basic principles of Christianity through the Anglican approach of scripture, tradition, and reason. People will be encouraged to ask questions, and to learn how to answer their own questions of faith. The course is free-of-charge, and childcare is available.
