County grants to promote arts, heritage and tourism now available

Goshen — Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus announced this month that applications are now available for the 2018-2019 County Executive Arts, Heritage and Tourism Grants program.
“These grants provide an opportunity to recognize and celebrate individuals and organizations that have a positive impact on Orange County,” Neuhaus said. “The funding also lends valuable support to entities which make positive contributions to the economy and quality of life in Orange County. We look forward to seeing some of these creative ideas.”
Grants up to $5,000 will be awarded to individual artists, organizations, venues and municipalities in Orange County to support artistic, cultural and historical events, projects, performances, workshops, classes, and displays accessible to the general public that promote tourism related economic development.
The deadline for acceptance of applications is 3 p.m., June 21.
Submissions can be delivered to Orange County Tourism’s office located at 99 Main St. in the Village of Goshen.
